Resumen
Bad practices during musical training can trigger various physical, emotional, and psychological consequences in musicians. The search for solutions began with an investigation of appropriate treatments to mitigate these ailments. This originated the curiosity to discover methods to prevent possible pathologies to later spread the knowledge and practices acquired through research as a healthy warning. The antecedents preceding the prevalence of conditions related to the practice of music are indicative of the fact that old harmful practices and techniques could put the musician's health at risk. Although great progress has been made at the medical level in the investigation of musicians' illnesses, including causes and consequences, there is still the unfortunate fact that old practices have not been completely abandoned by some institutions or teachers, and this is one of the causes of the frequency with which cases recur worldwide. It is essential to instill the importance of healthy musical training and practice within the educational community. The Academy plays an important role in the inclusion of healthy techniques in and out of the studio as a fundamental part of artistic performance.
