Comparativo entre el segundo y tercer periodo tarifario de acueducto en Colombia para grandes empresas

Abstract

Currently people are unaware of the methodology implemented in the billing of their water services, so many are not really aware that they are billed either monthly or bimonthly. This public water service is one of, if not, the most important for many homes, industries or sectors in Colombia, but it is also important to recognize how the rates are created and under what costs we are billed for this service, in order to demand and obtain a service with quality, frequency and fair prices. This paper will reflect the study and analysis necessary to understand the proper and required use of Resolutions CRA 287 of 2004 and CRA 688 of 2014, which refer to the last two tariff periods. Through the collection of information, the necessary data is obtained to be analyzed and subsequently a comparison is made that allows us to reach an evaluation of the results obtained from the present study. Where it is reflected between the second and third tariff period, changes in the formulas, values and final results, it is evident the optimization of the concepts to the methodology of these costs, optimizing from the second tariff period to the third one significantly. This together with the indexation of these reference tariffs that were taken from two different years where the two different tariff methodologies were applied for each of the years.
