Resumen
This paper focuses on the importance of including support voice in learning and performance of the drums. Here, Indian music and practice Solkattu and other musical references, where to learning percussion is given through orality forming a different system to the graphic, able to express musical ideas and focusing on empirical experience and addressed as a fundamental means of learning. Onomatopoeic syllables that imitate the timbres of the drums, enabling a greater awareness in the rhythms that we play, while aspects such as Groove, independence and strengthen the spontaneous creation are proposed. Finally specific exercises applied to the drums, which will inspire performers and teachers whom avail themselves in their study routines and musical education are proposed.
