Resumen
This monograph addresses the crucial need to develop new health and education facilities in the department of Cundinamarca, with a particular focus on the villages and municipalities that make up this region. Through a detailed analysis, it seeks to identify existing deficiencies and propose effective solutions that improve the quality of life of the population. Cundinamarca, with its varied geography and rich cultural diversity, faces important challenges in accessing basic services. Despite being one of the most developed regions in the country, many of its rural villages and municipalities lack the necessary infrastructure to provide adequate medical care and education. This phenomenon is especially worrying in remote areas, where the population is isolated from urban centers and, therefore, from essential resources. The study is based on the use of thematic cartography, a powerful tool that allows the visualization and analysis of the geographic distribution of health and education services. Through thematic maps, the areas with the greatest needs are identified, revealing patterns of unequal access that affect the most vulnerable communities. This approach allows not only to map the current situation, but also to establish a solid basis for planning new facilities. The proposal includes the design of strategically located health and educational centers, which respond to the specific needs of each village and municipality. Factors such as population, distance to existing services and transport infrastructure are considered, ensuring that these new facilities are accessible to all. In addition, the resources required for the implementation of these projects are evaluated, in order to optimize their operation and sustainability. The social and economic impact of these initiatives is a key aspect of the research. It is anticipated that the improvement in health and education infrastructure will not only benefit individuals, but will also foster community development and strengthen the social fabric in Cundinamarca. By providing access to quality services, it is expected that communities will be able to prosper, which in turn will contribute to reducing existing inequalities in the region.
