Abstract

The environmental problems can arise through various causes and activities carried out in organizations that are usually a reason for environmental deterioration. The agents affected by these environmental pressures, derived from the activities of the companies need to strengthen the area of environmental management of the organizations and internalizing the variable of environmental through the establishment of management systems. An alternative from environmental management to improve and facilitate environmental management in the School of Intelligence and Counterintelligence Brigadier General Ricardo Charry Solano is the contribution of tools for administration, and in this case the construction of the design of a balance scorecard for environmental management aimed at managing the environmental implications of the organization's activities. The result of this tool is that the aims of the project coincidence to the environmental objectives of the organization with the aspects of finance and budget, internal processes, stakeholder, and learning and growth, so that synergy is obtained between to proposed as a goal and what is done in the daily life of the organization. In this way it is possible to direct the actions carried out in the processes of the institution with the purpose of obtaining results that are translated into addressing for sustainable development. The information generated from the present document will be produced under the criteria of integration between the aspects of administration of resources of the organization such as finance, personnel and procedures, with an environmental emphasis, aspect that provides benefits and criteria for an institution that is dedicated to train and specialize the personnel of the military forces of Colombia and state agencies, in intelligence and military counterintelligence, so that by strengthening the environmental management of the institution, environmental care is reinforce contribute the graduates of the institution.
