Resumen
In Bogotá, millions of tons of Construction and Demolition Waste (RCD) are currently generated as a result of large, medium, and small works, and hundreds of kilograms of used vegetable oil (AVU) are generated annually, which, in order to maintain adequate control, must be reported and managed before the collecting entities of this special waste in charge of reporting and territorializing the management of this waste on a monthly and annual basis to favor decision-making in relation to continuous improvement in waste management. However, several factors have been identified that prevent the control and adequate management of the aforementioned waste, an example of this is ignorance, the lack of civic culture and in some cases the lack of resources to opt for options such as the collection service. home of special materials. As a result, until the year 2022, more than 700 critical points were identified in the urban perimeter of Bogotá where RCD-type waste is inappropriately deposited and despite the efforts of the control agencies to address and resolve the problem, until To date, very high amounts of waste are still reported without proper management. Through the review and collection of information regarding the current value chain of the RCD and the environmental impacts of the inadequate disposal of this waste in public space, the purpose is to mitigate these critical points through the implementation of infrastructure for points clean and sites for the use or final disposal of RCD which are located strategically to mitigate the impact generated by the disposal of RCD in inadequate spaces; the foregoing through the adaptation and design of a methodology which allows the identification of potential areas for the location of clean points, sites for the use and final disposal of RCD.
