Resumen
The internship took place in the Outreach and Social Impact Subcommittee of the Sports Management Professional Program at Francisco José de Caldas District University, with the aim of supporting the admissions process and strengthening the program's outreach to educational institutions and sports organizations. The work focused on characterizing the interest groups made up of high school students and young athletes, identifying their expectations regarding university life and the process of entering higher education. The methodology combined the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act) and the Design Thinking tool, which allowed for the planning, execution, and evaluation of outreach strategies focused on the needs of the stakeholders. Visits were made to institutions such as El Porvenir School and the Salaz CS, La Cabaña, and Séptimo Jogo sports clubs, where the curriculum, institutional benefits, and information on zero tuition were shared. Surveys were also conducted to learn about perceptions and expectations regarding the degree program. The results showed that the most highly valued aspects were participation in tournaments and sports teams, as well as wellness services. In the admission process, the clarity of the requirements and ease of access to the platform were highlighted. Finally, improvement strategies were proposed, focused on personalized support. the promotion of complementary academic activities, early vocational guidance, and the strengthening of female participation in the program.
