Resumen
The present research - creation project was carried out in order to know the narratives and experiences of young artists from 18 to 26 years of age who belonged to artistic scenarios within the municipality of Sibaté - Cundinamarca, to understand the conception of the artists on the emotions and their recognition. In the process developed, a meeting was held with 6 young leaders virtually, to later call 21 young people to participate in the project through an interview format. The results obtained according to the categories of analysis, showed that the majority of the young participants with 62% have belonged to artistic scenarios for more than 5 years, some have continued their artistic studies at a professional level and others as an extracurricular practice of their activities and studies. To carry out the respective analysis of their answers, a table was made with the content of their answers that were chosen at random and that accounted for important aspects such as: the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of their artistic process, of the relationships that are woven there, of the value of art on a personal and social level, of the protagonism and support that art has had in difficult moments of their lives, and other important categories for vital development. For the participants, the practice of art linked to emotions makes them more sensitive, allows them to connect with other human beings, makes emotions visible as a source of inspiration, allows them to perform a more intense and meaningful interpretation. The emotional components that are the direct channel of creation, do so from sources such as frustration, anger, tranquility, pain, memory, bodily sensations, the harmony of the body in relation to music and in general emotions that cannot be processed without the presence of consciousness. Art has had a leading role as emotional support, since for them it has allowed them to vent what ails them, it has allowed them to face difficult moments, they use art as a means to have control, flow with life, have strength and courage. In the responses of the interactions with the teachers, some participants stated that they were dissatisfied since emotions are not validated in the scenarios as they would like.
