Resumen
The gesture is one of the most important forms of non-verbal communication, transcends countries, cultures, and social contexts. In the field of music specifically, the gesture is a resource that the instrumentalists have to transmit the works performed in a manner closer to the public. This interaction between the gesture as a scenic resort and music as speech is the object of study of this degree. To achieve the proposed objective: the gesture as a scenic resort in the interpretation of the double bass, establishes the concept of gesture from different artistic disciplines. They are subsequently established three categories of gesture as an object of study from the concept of instrumental Theatre proposed by the argentino-aleman composer Mauricio Kagel: vocal gesture, body gesture and instrumental gesture. Finally, there are 3 types of analysis (analysis of dramatic text, musical and structural analysis and musician-gestural analysis) of the B.B. Wolf of the American composer Jon Deak. Musician-gestural analysis provides an interpretive proposal of the work referred to above, extolling gesture as interpretive resource.
