Prototipo de aplicación móvil instructiva, para el manejo y disposición de desechos sólidos en la ciudad de Bogotá

Abstract

The waste management in Bogota have been a critical point in the development of the city. Since colonial times the early civil works, sought to carry away the waste from urban concentrations without treatment of any kind. Thus, initially in the absence of an adequate system of collection, or point shedding, the people chose to throw the trash in the backyard, or pour waste into the streets. Only until this century, with the global movement product of the widespread concern about the pollution of the planet and its environmental effects, that the government have generated policies and plans for the proper management of waste. These plans are focused on education of the resident of Bogota, in the provision of specialized collection points and the awareness of the need for friendly habits with the environment. Thus, research product developed under this project, is established the development of a prototype mobile application platform, which will be divided into several modules, and allows to the user to see the nearest point of gathering of solid waste.
