Ventana de inmersión, exposición de videodanza

Abstract

Window of Immersion is a creative approach that seeks to inquire the compositional, narrative and aesthetic possibilities that the videodance format allows, in articulation with other means and techniques from different provenance. The project pretends to explore and use the inherent tools to video making in order to potentiate the dance approach regarding its expressive means, and to inquire about the different means and formats in which is possible to make, show, witness and appreciate dance. This proposal propounds itself as a strategy to transform the linearity of the conventional staging of contemporary dance pieces, framing the work in the bosom of an investigation on how to blur the barriers between arts and crafts, in order to conceive the artistic production as a holistic activity.
