Resumen
The purpose of this research was to identify, characterize and analyze social representations of violence in the youth population, through the observation and reflection of the content of the audiovisual narratives produced by the young participants of the Mini School Cine en Parche, an educommunicative strategy designed and developed by the Diafragma City Foundation in the fifth city of Bogotá, Colombia: Usme, during the year 2017. It is a qualitative research and used grounded theory as a methodological model, since the interest was in the discovery of the theory as a process, we wanted to observe and explore the phenomenon of study in the field and empirically and then generate a theoretical approach . The instruments of the theoretical sampling were: content analysis of audiovisual narratives and semi-structured group interviews. This work is a theoretical approach to representations of violence by young people in an urban and local context at the beginning of the century elaborated in an audiovisual narrative, in which an attempt was made to segment and organize the SR (Social Representations) from within to give an account of what concept the participants assigned to the study phenomenon, how they defined it, what were the characteristics, where did it come from, among others, what was called relational, and what were its opinions, perceptions, imaginaries and attitudes, and the senses attributed to it, in the representational.
