La expresión artística y su apropiación en procesos comunitarios a través del mural

Abstract

The project was carried out in the periphery of Bogotá in the municipality of Zipaquirá, with a child and youth population between the ages of 6 and 14 that have developed within a conflictive and vulnerable context. A series of visual arts workshops were held with the participants in which topics that affect the entire community were discussed and how through artistic creation in a community way, impact factors could be generated that trigger a re-significance of the spaces, The workshops revolved around the following themes: Visual recognition, shape and color, the image and space, local cartographies and design after more than 6 months of working with the community, the objective of the project was fully achieved and the first stage of the mural materialized by the participants.
