Resumen
The species of the genus Dendropsophus in Colombia are the most diverse within the Hylidae family, with a total of 35 species described (Acosta-Galvis, 2019). However, given the great diversity of Dendropsophus species, their biogeographic behavior is still little known, both at the species level and at the gender level due to the few efforts and updated work that exist on analysis of their distribution patterns. For this reason, a study was carried out whose main objective was to generate and analyze the biogeographic patterns of 16 species of the genus Dendropsophus in the Colombian territory; current and potential distributions, and congruence in distributions were taken into account; through an analysis of bioclimatic variables (Busby, 1991), through GIS geographic information systems, (DIVA-GIS 7.5.0) (Hijmans, Guarino, Bussink, & Rojas, 2002), based on geo-referenced presence data, available in online portals; GBIF and VertNet. The results show that the species of Dendropsophus have a congruence in the distribution areas of the biogeographic provinces of Cauca, and Magdalena, which also present unique climatic conditions that are preferred by the species, just framed in the Andean region, which proves The main hypothesis of the study. Similarly, the premise is demonstrated as to the pattern of the size of the distribution areas of the species of the genus Dendropsophus. The study constitutes a fundamental tool for the development of conservation strategies.
