Resumen
In this work, an analysis was made about the operation of the 3D scanner, image processing and specifically the use of the eviXscan 3D Suite software. For the realization of the monograph, the Integral Solution of 3D Scanning of Metrological Degree, located in the Francisco José de Caldas District University, Technological Faculty, was taken as a research source; where an analysis was carried out on the appropriate way to use this resource to modify the parameters to be taken into account for an excellent point cloud capture, in the selected simple geometric objects (cube, pyramid, hemisphere). [two] In this, concepts focused on the analysis and design of experiments were used, through the response surface in order to explain, simplify and improve the process of assembly and use of the software of this scanner for the recognition of common parts. Once the parameters and components mentioned above were identified, the first models of the selected geometric pieces (cube, semi-sphere, pyramid) were taken, this is where the Comprehensive Metrological Grade 3D Scanning Solution was used. and the eviXscan 3D Suite software where the changes established by the Design Expert® software based on the design of experiments were executed. Finally, the results of the prototypes taken by the Scanner are shown and how its point cloud changed through the variations made directly in the software, exposing the options that lead to an improvement in it.
