Resumen
ESPARTACO 2 is a high resolution spectrograph located at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. It is fed by a 50μm optical fiber and it is able to reach a resolution of approximately 22400. The analysis of the Ne I data obtained through the spectrograph were studied mostly by means of the software IRIS. The results provided relevant information related to its characterization. The instrument is able to capture 142Å per picture and efficiently captured 4 spectral lines in the red side of the Ne I spectrum. The shifts between the spectra have been measured, in order to use them in future calibrations. In addition, the quality of calibration for the spectrograph was found until the twenieth of pixel. Finally, ESPARTACO 2 is expected to contribute in research projects and to embark students in observational projects in astronomy.
