Resumen
This project stars from an introspective investigation that arises from a family genealogy and from my personal experience within it, accompanied by the practice of weaving as a bet to make it a methodological route of writing, creation, relief and meeting point with other beings, human and non-human. My experience and my political position as a woman, lesbian and artist, raised in an evangelical Christian family, created some points of tension in the way of understanding existence and wanting to transform it into a methodology of creation – investigation, from intuition and contemplation when creating a very strong approach and bond with creeping plants, which began a process that goes through daily life, the way of understanding life, company and coexistence with other beings. We are human beings, accustomed and trained to feel thar we are the center of the universe and that we have power over other living beings, something that opens up space of anthropocen-tric and speciesist ideas; usually when they are linked with other non-human beings, they are usually mammals, since they are the closest to the human race. The question that arises now in which I live an experience that moves completely crosses my existence, where I notice, not only the visible tissues of the climbing plants, but also the affective and sensitive tissues. Finally, when finding not only an affective embrace of the plant, there are ways of approaching the exploration that imply a broader panorama of existence, in favor of a good living and the practices of self-care and caring for the other being, generating thus small transformations from love in my small family and social context.
