dc.description	En este trabajo estudiaremos que las cintas rectangulares delgadas definidas como configuraciones que minimizan la energía del funcional de Sadowsky para tiras elásticas estrechas que son desarrollables, son propensas a construir formas esféricas en el sentido de que las soluciones sin fuerza se encuentran en una esfera. Esto tiene implicaciones para los objetos con forma de cinta. Tambien abordamos la relacion que tiene el funcional de Sadowsky con la curvatura principal	spa
dc.description.abstract	In this work we will study that thin rectangular strips defined as configurations that minimize the energy of the Sadowsky functional for narrow elastic strips that are developable, are prone to build spherical shapes. in the sense that the forceless solutions lie on a sphere. This has implications for ribbon-shaped objects. We also address the relationship that the Sadowsky functional has with the principal curvature	spa
