Resumen
The Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, as an institution of higher education, constantly seeks to improve the experience of its students, teachers and administrative staff. In this context, this research proposes the implementation of a chatbot as an innovative tool to optimize communication channels and facilitate access to relevant information. The growing demand for immediate and personalized information by members of the university community, added to the complexity of academic and administrative processes, has generated the need to develop technological solutions that speed up the attention and resolution of doubts. Chatbots, based on artificial intelligence and natural language processing, are presented as an effective alternative to meet these needs. This degree proposes the design and implementation of a chatbot as an innovative tool to improve communication and access to information within the Francisco José de Caldas District University. Through this artificial intelligence system, the aim is to optimize student service processes, expedite the resolution of academic and administrative doubts, and encourage greater interaction between members of the university community.
