dc.description	Este trabajo de grado hace un análisis del libro Progressive Steps to Syncopation for the Modern Drummer de Ted Reed, abordándolo como una herramienta versátil para el desarrollo integral del músico, estudiante y profesor de batería. A través de la recopilación de videos, experiencias personales y testimonios de otros músicos, se plantea una gran variedad de formas de estudio de este libro, señalando que podrían existir muchas más formas de abordarlo y que han sido registradas solo en video o hay muy pocas referencias escritas. Se organiza la información recopilada desde diferentes fuentes y se ofrece una explicación de las mismas cuando es necesario. Además, se muestran los resultados de la aplicación de este libro en estudiantes de Jeferson Wilches, utilizando recursos musicales actuales que les resultan atractivos, como sus canciones favoritas o géneros musicales de su preferencia.
dc.description.abstract	This thesis presents an analysis of Progressive Steps to Syncopation for the Modern Drummer by Ted Reed, approaching it as a versatile tool for the comprehensive development of drummers—as musicians, students, and educators. Through the compilation of videos, personal experiences, and testimonies from other musicians, the work explores a wide variety of study approaches to this book, emphasizing that many more methods may exist, often shared only in video format or with very limited written documentation. The information gathered from various sources is organized and, when necessary, explained in detail. Additionally, the results of applying this book with students of Jeferson Wilches are presented, using modern musical resources that they find engaging, such as their favorite songs or preferred musical genres.
