Perspectivas sobre las condiciones laborales ideales para los árbitros de fútbol en Colombia

Abstract

This paper is focused on gathering information on the current situation faced by professional football referees in Colombia and their working conditions. The foregoing in order to have a clearer approach to the circumstances and to show the perspective of the different actors of Colombian football towards professional referees in the country. To do so, the opinion of Dimayor, directors of the Colombian Football Federation, managers and players of football clubs, professional football referees and in training, and spectators will be included. The information will be gathered through videoconferences and web forms in order to document the responses given by the aforementioned group of people. This recollection way was set due to the National Government issues Decree 417-2020, by which the State of Economic, Social and Ecological Emergency in the country in order to ward off the serious public calamity due to COVID-19. According to the regulations, the mandatory preventive isolation of all inhabitants of the Republic of Colombia must be complied with and interviews cannot be carried out in person.
