Abstract

This degree project analyses factors, not only natural but also anthropic, which converge around a wetland. The dragonfly "la libélula" how it is called in Spanish, and which is located in "El Tunjo" an Ecological District wetland Park, but nowadays it is called District wetland Reserve due to decree 555 of 2021. This set of circumstances led us to develop the research with the objective of comprehending the social processes that take place in the wetland, the wetland is situated between "Ciudad Bolivar" and "Tunjuelito". We have been establishing the institutional, social and environmental factors that have interfered in the current condition of it. Based on this understanding we started to structure the proposal about ecological management conflict. The implementation plan for this research began with the description of the study area, it generated an initial diagnosis based on the identification of the actors and their perception of the problem. Subsequently, throughout the investigation, methods and instruments were adapted to the specific needs identified. This allowed the consolidation of the information and the approaching to the actors involved thus it has been moving on to the analysis of the information collected from the perspective of various theoretical references. Finally, we are looking forward to structuring a management proposal to improve the ecosystem's environmental conditions.
