Abstract

The constant need of the human being to be communicated is what has marked a determining factor in the advancement and growth of information technologies, such as the increase in the speed of internet connections (bandwidth) and the emergence of web browsers as tools to support the handling and processing of information of individuals and companies, changing the way they communicate, where it is no longer enough to have a computer that allows automating many of their tasks , but extends to the information can be accessed from anywhere and at any time. Based on this need, information systems based on web applications are created, which take advantage of these benefits. But despite all the benefits offered by technology, there are companies that currently lack the use of them. It can be observed that in some areas the information systems have been used, and in others, the implementation of the information systems has not been extended, lagging behind the use of office tools in order to carry out their work. On the other hand, software development based on web applications requires a high level of knowledge and control over the techniques and technologies for its construction, allowing the design of user interfaces that are agile, flexible, accessible and intuitive. The technological advance in the development of web applications has made us worry about the use of technological resources, to offer greater performance and usability in this type of applications, through the programming of the client side with HTML5, Javascript and CCS3 which greatly improve user interaction with the system (user experience). Knowing how to use these techniques and technologies is a key success factor for any company, since it contributes to the efficient development of each of the activities defined in each area of ​​the same, increases the productivity of its collaborators, and to this extent , in the presentation of results to the management. Based on the above, the project focuses on the use of some of these technologies, to automate an important process in the insurance company Mundial, as is the management of the collection of its portfolio, making this application, part of a of their business strategies.
