Resumen
This work is related to the pedagogical proposal in order to identify the symbolic media violence exercised by the traditional media on YouTube around Transmilenio public transport from 2016 to 2019. This proposal is composed of a blog-type website, where the process of the pedagogical proposal is summarized, and an audiovisual channel of videos published on YouTube showing the result of the analysis of symbolic media violence around Transmilenio. For this, two important fields are addressed, such as communication and education. In the field of communication, the aim is to create a product, participatory and critical in the face of traditional media, which have migrated to communication formats such as YouTube, in which the media no longer represent the spirit of informing in an ideal and objective, where, with their media and power methods, they manipulate consciences, and insisting on continuing to transfer symbolic violence to these screens as expressed by authors such as: Bonilla y Size (2007), Da Silva (2001) and Bourdieu (2002). And in the field of education, it seeks to create a training tool in visual literacy, which at the same time becomes a tool that provides elements of image semiotics and critical discourse that allow students to have critical visual knowledge, before the media manipulation around Transmilenio.
