Resumen
This research is carried out within the framework of a pedagogical project with students from the secondary school at the Liceo Femenino Mercedes Nariño school, in Bogotá. It seeks to propose pedagogical and didactic strategies for the teaching of social sciences, having as its main objective, to analyze the report of the teaching of the recent history of the Colombian armed conflict for the development of critical thinking in ninth grade students, through the use of photography as a teaching resource. The methodological framework recognizes as a paradigmatic theory, an empirical qualitative approach and as a general theory Ethnography in the classroom. From this, it is considered essential to approach students to understand social reality, build historical knowledge and foster critical thinking from the analysis and production of photographs as a didactical tool.
