Determinación de la tecnología más apropiada para disminuir la contaminación hídrica de la Empresa Curtiembres Lozamora en el Barrio San Benito de Bogotá

Abstract

This work presents the production process of the company "Curtiembres LOZAMORA", here it is seen that the main problematic is the water pollution caused by the liquid and solid wastes that are produced along the process. As it is known, the tannery industries have a strong impact on the water bodies due the use of chemicals as chromium and sulphure, those are of importance to get to the quality standars of this industry, since they allow a better finishing of the product. These chemicals get mixed with the used water in all the processes, causing a huge volume of wastewater with high concentrations of chemicals generating damages to the environment and human health. For all the mentioned previously, the main objective of this work is to choose the most appropiate technology to reduce the water pollution caused by the factories of this sector, considering the necessary criteria of a appropiate technology, following a methodology proposed by Miranda, García y Pardo (2015) to the selecgtion of the technology that will be appropiate for this case. Finally a selected technology is presented with the designed taking into account the size and dimentions of the company, the fulfillment of the objective is shown with the theorical application of the technology.
