Análisis del discurso en la producción de videos para la plataforma YouTube en 2021. Transformaciones culturales del trabajo en el Siglo XXI.

Abstract

The reader can find an analysis of the meaning in the semiotic practices of non-professional audiovisual production of twenty (20) users of the YouTube platform in the year 2021. The text pursues the forms and reasons that locate the occupation on the platform as a way of integrating into social production and the labor market today. Following Arturo Escobar's use of the development category, technological advancement is seen as a discourse that can be approached by describing the conception of work and technology by the Inter-American Development Bank. A conversation is established between Van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis and Kress and Van Leeuwen's Multimodal Discourse Analysis, during the development of Virtual Ethnography proposed by Christine Hine. One of the contributions found is a progressive professionalization of user-generated content, taking advantage of the multimodalism of the internet to offer technically and symbolically everything necessary to produce on the same website.
