Resumen
Reading has been one of the main processes of human formation since the consolidation of writing. Its acquisition usually drives subjects with awareness of their actions, of society, elevates the soul and at the same time, the immediate context. In this way, the school has usually been in charge of generating multiple processes, strategies, methods, for the increase of reading in the environments that establish it. However, in order to teach reading and to assimilate reading from a more democratizing perspective, other entities or alternative contexts have taken initiatives to strengthen or generate these reading processes. From there arises the present investigation that observes the practices of reading in two scenarios with similar intentions, but with dissimilar conditions and characteristics in its operation as they are the I. E. D. Fernando Mazuera Villegas (Sede B) and the Bibliosec Foundation. From there, we seek to account for relevant aspects that can influence the reading processes at school and, in turn, in alternative or non-conventional scenarios. Specifically giving way to the analysis of reading practices in a public institution in Bogota and in a foundation whose reading practices are not framed within the specific parameters that govern school environments for its promotion and encouragement. In this way, the characteristics of each scenario and its actors are made evident and, at the same time, reflections are presented on the incidence of these aspects on these practices in future readers, showing the necessary contributions required to form authentic readers.
