This proposal corresponds to the design of a Virtual Learning Object (hereinafter OVA) to support the process of developing phonological awareness in first grade students of Tibabuyes Universal I.E.D. Now, in order to contribute to the teaching and learning processes mediated by information and communication technologies, a consequent recognition of literature is presented that projects the applicability of VLOs in education in general and, in particular, for students during their first years of schooling, given their contribution to strengthening the learning of this population. This document begins with the description of the problem situation that motivates the realization of this research and that leads to specific objectives to be achieved. This part identifies the need to contribute to the development of phonological awareness from the first years of schooling to support subsequent processes related to reading comprehension skills. Then, the main categories that support the realization of the project are analyzed in depth. Subsequently, the methodological research design is indicated, where the methodological approach is of a mixed type, with a descriptive-explanatory scope and a convergent design. Three phases of intervention are integrated in this work, which are characterized by beginning with the execution of the entrance test, then the results of the implementation of the Virtual Learning Object are presented and finally, the effects are disclosed. from the implementation phase through the application of the post-test. Finally, the results of the investigative process are analyzed taking into account all the categories articulated in the design of the proposal, which allowed reaching the conclusions that are presented.
