Resumen
The effects of climate change worldwide have become more noticeable in recent years, with greenhouse gases (GHG) being the largest contributors to this phenomenon. The interest, pressure and urgency to drastically reduce the emissions of these gases have led countries, multinationals, among others, to unite in order to contribute to their reduction. Among the alternatives to fulfill this purpose there is the production of hydrogen due to the capacity that it has as a substitute for fossil fuels in some carbon-intensive industrial processes. A bibliographic review in databases, preferably those available in the Digital Library of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, allows to identify the challenges that Colombia has in the production of green hydrogen as an alternative in power generation within the framework of the Agreement of Paris, the Glasgow Pact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). That is why in this research a systematic review of literature related to the production of green hydrogen in Colombia will be carried out, seeking to define a current and prospective panorama of this fuel, which ultimately allows establishing the challenges in this matter and in this way, respond to the proposed objectives.
