Resumen
The Internet arrival to Colombia in 1991 and the use of information and communications Technologies made necessary to incorporate these elements into secondary education, thus, students will have the essential tools to help them in their life. Hence, including in the computer science, the design and implementation of a Wiki to develop the knowledge in technology in high school becomes a relevant purpose to keep up with the demands of the digital age. On one hand, this study is based on the qualitative methodology. Rodríguez Gregorio (1996) affirmed that it "studies reality in its natural context, as it happens, trying to make sense of, or interpret phenomena according to the meanings people have" (p.32). On the other hand, cognitive processes are linked to action with the searching for information stored in computers, that is why, it is based on "action research”. Elliott John (2005) stated that "it analyses the human actions and social situations experienced by teachers, as well, is related to everyday practical problems”. Taking into account the above, it will guide students from Technical Domingo Faustino Sarmiento I.E.D school through didactic sequences to students understand every single part of a Wiki. Besides, it will lead students to solve problems in the design of a web page, in a collaborative and participative way. Finally, it was accurate to improve technological competencies to develop the implementation of the Wiki, fulfilling each goal proposed by the students.
