Resumen
In this work, the conceptual framework for a virtual space is developed, which allows to provide citizens of the national territory with easy access to information related to environmental risk factors to which, according to experts interviewed by INS, they are exposed daily and that can generate the development of different events of interest in public health. In this conceptual framework, some of the most common environmental risk factors and events of interest in public health that may be related to these risk factors are described. By not knowing the existence of these factors, the population in general is much more vulnerable to the consequences of their exposure, being this more susceptible to suffer negative impacts on health; these impacts could be reduced considerably if people are informed about it, which is why a source of timely, accurate, understandable and easily accessible information for the community in general is required regarding the environmental risk factors to which the Colombian population is exposed in their daily lives. The present project seeks to gather and organize the existing information on these environmental risk factors to which, according to experts surveyed by the INS, the population is exposed daily and can generate the development of different events of interest in public health, taking into account that said information should be adequate for its subsequent implementation in a virtual space of national coverage, which will be designed by the National Institute of Health (INS) and aimed at the Colombian population in general.
