Resumen
In this work, the authors present their experiences with grades belonging to elementary school: 102 and 402, in the second stage of professional practice, carried out in 2019, at Colegio El Jazmín, located in the city of Bogotá. The main focus to analyze and that guided this research was to question the same practice in relation to the teaching of writing. The fundamental approach was to take writing for what it is, a communicative skill and later to contrast it with the way it was truly taught in the classrooms. An emphasis was made through constructive criticism of the gaps involved in bringing the teaching of this skill from a traditional model, which operated in the instrumental and technical. And how the new generation of teachers, charged with motivation, with an initiative for change, allows itself to be permeated by what has already been established, as it was on this occasion; Although of course, there were moments of practice in which the practicing teachers were able to apply what they learned in the academy based on different strategies, tools and class methodologies, those that aroused the student's interest in developing the different classroom assignments.
