Resumen
According to Latorre, E and Jimenez G.A (2013), corporate environmental management refers to the set of business practices and policies in the city of Bogotá to minimize its environmental impact and promote business sustainability. There is a direct relationship with Occupational Health and Safety, as this area promotes occupational safety and care for the business community. These practices have been adapted by Gestión Técnico de Información S.A- Thomas MTI, an organization known for complying with ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications by ICONTEC, maintaining itself as one of the information security companies. In the development of the internship "Fortalecimiento del área de Gestión Ambiental, Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo para la empresa Manejo Técnico de Información S.A – Thomas MTI”, the commitment to work for the benefit of ensuring a safe, healthy and sustainable work environment is assumed. Support is also provided for the monitoring of ISO 14001:2015 standards, which is currently 70% implemented, and ISO 45001:2018, which has already been certified by ICONTEC, and audits will be carried out from the quality part internally as external audits by the competent entity, through assistance in the process of the possible updating and implementation of these integrated management systems. These activities are carried out with the purpose of improving operational efficiency and ensuring business quality, thus contributing to the reduction of risks and associated costs. All of this together will strengthen the preventive culture, promote the health and well-being of workers and consolidate the company as a benchmark in compliance with international standards of Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental sustainability.
