Apoyo a la subdirección de geografía del IGAC en la organización de la información de los archivos análogos y digitales del GIT de producción cartográfica

Abstract

The Agustín Codazzi Geographical Institute, IGAC, is the entity in charge of producing the official map and basic cartography of Colombia; prepare the national property registry; carry out the inventory of the soil characteristics; carry out geographic research to support territorial development; train and train professionals in geographic information technologies and coordinate the Colombian Spatial Data Infrastructure (ICDE). (IGAC, 2019) The Agustín Codazzi Geographical Institute and the Francisco José de Caldas District University have an inter-administrative cooperation agreement that allows university students to carry out their academic practices, and at the same time acquire work experience. This document will show the development of the internship in the Internal Group of Cartographic production work (GIT). Belonging to the Subdirectorate of Geography and Cartography of the IGAC.
