Resumen
The integration of renewable energies worldwide and in Colombia is a reality, currently in the country the main sources of energy have a very large environmental and social impact, energy production in Colombia is led by hydroelectric plants with a participation of 86 %, thermal energy has a share of 13%, solar and wind energy only have a share of 0.1%. Solar energy came to be an alternative to the energy challenges that the country and the world face, which is why in this project a design and technical-economic study will be carried out for the implementation of solar panels to replace conventional lighting systems in the advertising billboards installed by the company AGS SOLUCIONES in Colombian territory. The billboards installed by the company are outdoors, where the power source for current lighting depends on the power supply local of each region where they are installed. These fences are installed in both rural and urban parts, so the climatic impact due to storms, lightning, etc., as well as the dependence on the energy supply by the local network operator may be uncertain, due to power outages, failures or maintenances. Due to this, there is a need to implement a renewable energy source taking advantage of the electromagnetic radiation coming from the sun, improving energy efficiency through the installation of autonomous and efficient solar panels, and thus supplying the lighting of advertising billboards. Each of the factors and stages that may be decisive for the execution of this project must be structured. The energy transition is a reality, which is why the cost-benefit that customers would have by implementing billboards with solar panels is very great. With the implementation of this photovoltaic system, a slightly larger investment is required than a conventional lighting system, however, the future profits and return on investment can demonstrate the viability of the project. Currently, the lighting on billboards comes from conventional systems with reflectors and without an adequate lighting study. With the implementation of solar panels to supply this lighting, the corresponding calculations will be made for the appropriate selection of the panel, battery, inverter and corresponding regulator. Additionally, the luminaires to be implemented must be specialized LED types to billboards This project will last 62 business days (Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) or 3 calendar months, and will be executed in the municipality of Cajicá-Cundinamarca at the facilities of the AGS company. SOLUTIONS. For this particular implementation, the technical-economic study design of the solar panel prototype will focus on double-sided billboards, where additional electrical parameters will be calculated such as grounding calculations for the system, grounding downpipe, regulation calculations, electrical risk matrix, power factor analysis and harmonic analysis .
