Resumen
In the new educational context of science education the work has been carried out in the classroom as a linear classification, where the student only learns the rules and methods, and the importance of practical laboratory work , a relevant learning approach for its development and a powerful pedagogical strategy that evidences in the student attitudinal, procedural and conceptual changes. The investigation is presented. Practical work as the fundamental base for the teaching of biology, an experience with mendelian genetics in ninth grade students, whose objective is to focus on changes, concepts and concepts, concepts and services. a didactic unit with a focus on problem-based learning and as a powerful learning strategy, the practical lab work was taken, which fostered an active, collaborative asset in the student, where the scientific method, the critical spirit, the development of skills and abilities. The methodology developed throughout the research starts from two phases, from the role of researcher to the characterization phase of the qualitative type and from the teaching role with the design of the practical classes, until the present investigation, showing that the works as a strategy of power and linked to the basic principles of competences, scientific skills and the resolution of problems and basic knowledge, as well as the basic principles of learning, denotes a development of knowledge, skills and values that are part of of students comprehensively in the function of teaching-learning and finally from the curricular guideline and in the reference to the psycho-cognitive entity, it is an attitude of creativity and an adequate treatment of the solution of problems that allowed in the student an important conceptual change.
