This monograph based on the analysis of experiences, systematizes the development of an artistic pedagogical proposal through theater workshops with boy and girls from six to twelve years old from Mosquera town. This research project is framed is the relationship between social skills, art and human development. Art is defended as a fundamental strategy in the process of integral formation of boys, girls, teenagers and young people. The approach focuses its interest on theater as a factor that enhances human development through the strengthening of social skills in boys and girls, as it enables corporal expression, creativity, sensitivity, affectivity and social interaction. The first chapter develops the theoretical approach, articulating human development with artistic and cultural topics, but also with psychosocial processes in childhood and theater as a pedagogical strategy. In the second chapter, the methodological framework is exposed from the qualitative approach and field design, using information collection techniques, analysis of stories and unstructured behavioral observation. The third chapter analyzes the impact generated by the theater workshops in the social behavior of children. Finally, the conclusions are presented from the results found, as well as the recommendations focused on the need to think of a different education model with methodologies that make use of the game and the experiential activities.
