Construcción de la memoria histórica en el municipio de Venecia, Cundinamarca: un ejercicio para promover el empoderamiento de los jóvenes como sujetos políticos

Abstract

The current document presents the researching process developed around the historical memory construction of the recent conflict in the municipality of Venecia (Cundinamarca) and how it contributes to the empowerment of young people as political subjects. This research has as theoretical referents the approach of the historical memory, the violence and the transmedia narratives. Besides that, it has a qualitative character and is oriented through the participative action researching method. This research work evidences an interest in knowledge about the implication of past as a way to organize not just the historical events related to the forms of violence and the emblematic actions that left the conflict in the population, but also as a possibility to recognize that young people empowerment within the communities by being guided by the application of memory pedagogies. On the other hand, this work pretends to show how through the conjunction of media, the memory can be developed in different scenarios and portrait the historical facts and the experiences lived by the victims of the conflict in a municipality, that, like many others in the country has had to endure the war.
