Las grabaciones del Sello Vergara de Bogotá en el fondo de documentos sonoros Antonio Cuéllar: digitalización, catalogación y pesquisa investigativa

Abstract

The thesis Recordings of Sello Vergara from Bogotá belonging to Antonio Cuellar Sound Documents Repository: Digitization, Cataloging and Investigation, provides the digitization and Cataloging of 60 sound files related to discographic recordings made by Sello Vergara, that belong to the Antonio Cuellar Sound Documents Repository of the Documentation Center of Arts (DCA) of Arts Faculty ASAB, belonging to the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. In the same way, this document is an investigation of the discographic records and radio in Colombia, it gives a closer look into the origin and trajectory of Bogota´s Sello Vergara, created between 1949 and 1950. This thesis also provides the context in which this enterprise got developed, the artists and composers who were recorded by Sello Vergara and the relations between some of the records and historic moments for Colombia.
