Elaboración del Manual de Operación y de Mantenimiento del Sistema de Acueducto de la Cabecera Municipal de San Francisco de Sales-Cundinamarca

Abstract

This operation and maintenance’s manual looks for strengthening the provision of the aqueduct service in municipal head belonging to “San Francisco de Sales” in Cundinamarca, as well as searches for guaranteeing and ideal functioning of the system in order to supply potable water to the population. As far as development of the project is concerned, this is carried out by a clear explanation of aqueduct system, operation and maintenance activities from water catchment to distribution network of drinking water, a description of functioning and actual operation and maintenance of the system. In the same way, we reviewed some technical aspects about parts of the aqueduct system, based on normative requirements and general guides developed for aqueduct systems. Based on the above, we recommend some technical operational and maintenance aspects which we hope foment precise activities and help ACUASAFRA to fulfill their objective of providing the aqueduct service with quality and continuity.
