Apoyo a la Vicepresidencia de Desarrollo Sostenible (ANDI): impacto de la legislación ambiental en ríos sujetos de derechos

Abstract

This graduate project was developed in the Vice Presidency of Sustainable Development of the National Business Association of Colombia (ANDI) and aimed to analyze the impact of environmental legislation on rivers declared subjects of rights in Colombia. Through the review of Sentence T-622 of 2016 and other regulatory frameworks, gaps and opportunities in the implementation of these policies in the business sector are identified. Comparative analyses were carried out with international legislation, case studies, and participation in technical committees, which allowed for the formulation of strategic recommendations for sustainable water management. Additionally, it contributed to strengthening the technical capacity of affiliated companies through the development of advisory tools, legislative monitoring, and the updating of environmental management plans. The results obtained highlight the need for greater inter-institutional articulation and the promotion of sustainable practices in the private sector to guarantee the conservation of water ecosystems in Colombia.
