Resumen
This Project includes the design and development of a Technology School Activity (TSA) through the analysis and construction of technological devices used in sailing during fifteenth century like ship's compass, sundial and the astrolabe; they allowed for time and space position in the ocean, having in mind the stars and others elements as planet magnetic north and earth location related to the sun. This technology school activity tries to boost the metric thinking from eighth and ninth graders of “Colegio de Formación Integral Virgen de la Peña” permitting them to recognize the importance of these devices for altitude, time and angles measurement connecting the pupils with mathematics and more exactly with measurement idea through the analysis, elaboration and use of these technological devices in the classroom to resolve problems into the context.
