Resumen
In the following autoethnography I narrate my personal experience with dance as a cancer patient thirteen years ago. My intention is to expose those factors that were woven between the disease and dance based on the process I lived. My sick body was a body that inevitably revealed something that needed to be heard and recognized in some way by myself. When I faced with the possibility of dying to my existence, I found and connected myself with dance, which from its own poetic movement contributed significantly to the play that I decided to give to my life in the middle of a constant struggle that I had with the death. Thus, with this research, I get close to reflect about the practice of dance during the treatment of a disease such as cancer.
