Resumen
It is known worldwide that amputation originates from different causes such as deficient blood flow to the limb, tumors of the lower limb, severe trauma caused by an accident, traumatism by anti-personnel mines, among others. The process performed to claim these injuries is the prosthetic adaptation, which requires disclosed procedures such as static prosthesis alignment, due to the importance of the fit between the prosthesis and the residual stump, the objective of this article is to purpose to review the documentation of the static alignment of prosthesis, since, the absence of literature forces to establish a line of research in the area, in order to exist, models, software or devices that treat the static alignment in a parametrized way. Each individual and stop being a circumstantial objective parameter, and thanks to this can be compared with future inquiries and thus objectively assess the magnitude of the changes made in scientific advances by virtue of the implementation, creation, alignment and start-up of prostheses for transtibial amputees.
