Resumen
Colombia has a great musical diversity throughout its territory. Depending on our place of birth, we embrace customs and a culture that becomes our identity. Sometimes we are interested in learning from these foreign cultures, but it is not always so easy to understand a culture due to the high differences that may exist between ours and the one we are interested in. The musical rhythms of the savannahs of Cordoba and Sucre in the north of our country are very distant, for example, from the inhabitants near the capital, so their learning is not so fluid or successful. A trumpet player whose interest is directed towards these folkloric musics, specifically the porro and the fandango, can deepen in this work, to understand how a trumpet works and how it develops in these genres; which are the main rhythmic-melodic characteristics that the trumpet players of that region use in their interpretations; and how to initiate a study of this music, creating his own ideas and forging habits that bring him closer to an accurate interpretation of both genres.
