Más allá de la improvisación: aplicación de trés técnicas écnicas extendidas en la batería (batería preparada, scat y efectos) en la re-interpretación de tres temas

Abstract

This work don’t just represents a whole research about studies, reading and atemporality of the drumset, also it can be seen as a compact guide for the crurious drummers or even percussionst who wants to expand them sound posibilities, colors and “flavors”. The sound exploration in the drumset and it bequest inside the musical improvisation is a topic that (in academic terms) has been working in a very shy way, so this work wants to get deeper in some recognizable bearings of this large posibilities. The scat, instrumental preparation and the natural effects od the isntrument, are just three of the numeric posibilities to explore in this work, after an analitic, investigative and practicing process that was based on various interpreters of the drumset (Trilok Gurtu, Kiko Freitas, Roberto Dani, Farley Miller) and on the other hand some authors (Bob Stoloff, John Riley) who not only inspired the whole contents of this work but the re-interpretation of the selected repertoire too: Scat Woman de Minoru Endo, Dizzy Sim de Jerry Martin y Kirk Casey, y Handsonit de Avishai Cohen.
