Valoración económica de los bienes y servicios ambientales del Cerro Quinini en Tibacuy, Cundinamarca a través del método de valoración costo de viaje

Abstract

Cundinamarca department is characterized by various tourist sites, including the Natural Cerro Quininí located between the municipalities of Tibacuy, Viota and Nilo characterized by its high scenic beauty and cultural level. Visitors to the area and nearly municipalities delight weekends knowing: El bosque de robles, El pico del águila, La piedra del parto, La cabeza del indio, among others. The area is affected by numbers of reasons including the particular interests of each municipality which makes each of the mayoral allow the entry of several tourist companies and thus increase the number of people allowed to the ecosystem, exceeding its capacity, while a significant percentage of tourists behave in an inappropriate manner since it has been demonstrated the use of psychoactive substances, which affects the safety of the residents and other visitors, in addition to cutting and burning of trees presented in the area, solid waste, among others are the problems that are visible. Therefore seeks to make an economic assessment under the travel cost method, taking into account social, cultural and economic aspects of the population, as a result of this analysis the economic value that are willing to pay tourists by cultural environmental services is identified Quininí providing the hill, in order to invest this new income to the preservation and care of the ecosystem.
