The following monograph work was done at the Carlos Giraldo Departmental School in the municipality of Anolaima, it was developed in the social sciences class of the eleventh grade and focused on the teaching of History starting from the strengthening of the historical Awareness as a transversal axis since it is from this field that the understanding of the social reality can be strengthened mainly the immediate context of the students, in this order of ideas it was articulated with the Critical pedagogy since it is from there that the role of the students is re-signified giving it a Active voice in the processes of Historical Memory, on the other hand methodologically worked from the Research-action because it is pertinent to make a reflection on the teaching practice and the recognition of the othe
