Resumen
The purpose of this research called "Characterization of management from the school government from the strengthening of citizen participation in the San Francisco Institute School". develops as its main focus, the role of management and implementation of school government facing challenges in students and in the educational community. This research has a qualitative approach, resulting in three main categories: citizen participation, school governance and management; promoting from these, processes and practices that are articulated with the Cohabitation Manual of the San Francisco Institute College, as a conclusion, school governance is a fundamental part of strengthening political training, management is the main structure of the institution and influences the promotion and construction of spaces for participation and decision-making.
